The HumanKIND Club was created in the 2021-2022 academic year by a group of students at Suttons Bay Public Schools. The purpose of the HumanKIND Club is to create a safe environment and socializing opportunities for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. In conjunction with weekly gatherings, we hope to create awareness about LGBTQ+ history and vocabulary as well as provide educational events and experiences to Leelanau County's schools' students and staff, as well as local community members.
