LIFT proudly partners with Suttons Bay and Northport High Schools to provide teens with opportunities and mentorship that can transform their most formative years. Our support takes many forms. Here are just a few!
ACADEMICS
LIFT mentors are available to provide academic support for any student in need of tutoring.
SPORTS
Every student deserves a fan in the stands. LIFT staff and volunteers show up to sporting events to cheer on every teen on the team.
MENTAL HEALTH
As the mental health crisis continues amongst our youth, LIFT continues to prioritize supporting our teens' mental health.
LEADERSHIP
LIFT partners with student leaders each year to help host events such as homecoming, prom, and wellness events.
LEELANAU COUNTY'S HIGH SCHOOLS CAN LEAN ON US
We have found our largest impact with high schoolers to be through supervised and engaging events and one-on-one relationships with our volunteers and mentors. For 9th through 12th graders, we host weekly events in the evenings and on the weekends as well as interact with teens at sporting events and during free periods throughout their school day.
